Summary

Description
English: On the fault line? The Mid Craven fault runs W-E just to the north of Malham village, and this photo is looking west roughly along the line of it. The only indications of any geological feature here is the contrast between the outcrop of Great Scar Limestone on the hillside to the right and the Bowland series of shales and sandstones of Kirkby Fell [centre and left].
